Job Summary:
Monaco Ford is seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team in Niantic, Connecticut. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of diesel vehicles including trucks, vans, and buses. This job also involves diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine issues and providing top-notch customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues and provide effective and efficient solutions
• Perform inspections and identify any potential problems with the vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services provided
• Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
• Operate various tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic in the auto industry required, Ford experience preferred 
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
