As a Diesel Mechanic, you will perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel trucks, as well as chassis work on RVs and motorhomes (no house-related repairs). Diesel Technician Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Ford diesel trucks and chassis vehicles
  
  
  


• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot vehicles using diagnostic tools and manufacturer checklists
  
  
  


• Complete assigned service and repair orders efficiently and accurately
  
  
  


• Follow all factory repair procedures, safety standards, and torque specifications
  
  
  


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  
  
  


• Road test vehicles to ensure quality of repair
  
  
  


• Tag and return warranty parts as required
  
  
  


• Stay current with Ford factory training and service bulletins
  
  
  


• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold dealership standards
  
  
  

Diesel Technician Qualifications

• Ford Diesel Certification
  
  
  


• One or more years of dealership or fleet diesel repair experience preferred
  
  
  


• Experience with other diesel brands (Chevy, Dodge, etc.) is a plus
  
  
  


• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
  
  
  


• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude
  
  
  


• Must provide own tools
  
  
  


• High school diploma or equivalent required
