Diet Aide - FT Days (PHC)

Description

• Prepares cold food for patients, delivers meals and snacks to the floors, and serves on the patient tray line. Stocks and restocks food for patients. • Reports to lead diet aide, supervisor, manager. Works with all dietary and hospital staff members.

• Education: Ability to read and write English, follow oral and written directions and make simple calculations.
• Licensure/Registration/Certification: None
• Work Experience: Prior foodservice experience helpful.

• Physical & Other Factors: Stands and walks most of day, Stoops, bends and reaches, able to lift up to 50 lbs, able to move portable kitchen equipment, must be able to have hands in soapy warm water.
• At times warm, moist, odorous atmosphere, temperature changes, floor slippery at times.
• Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
• Occupational: Significant occupational risk
• Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
