Schedule: 6:00a–2:00p Saturday - Sunday; flexible to work other days when needed

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Dietary Cart Aide to support our Memory Care residents with safe, personalized meal service. This role ensures food safety, quality, and resident comfort while working closely with the dementia care team.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Deliver meals and provide personalized dining support to Memory Care residents

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain food at safe temperatures and follow proper food handling procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with pre-meal prep, short order cooking, and post-meal cleanup

  
  


• 
  

  Mop floors, clean bases, and complete periodic deep cleaning

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure necessary supplies are stocked for Memory Care service

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate changes in resident behavior or needs to nursing staff

  
  


• 
  

  Follow Employee Handbook, policies, and safety requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties as directed

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  GED or High School Diploma required

  
  


• 
  

  1+ year experience in food preparation and service, preferably with dementia residents

  
  


• 
  

  Food Handlers Certification (within 14 days) and Dementia training required

  
  


• 
  

  Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and flexibility

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient with kitchen and cleaning equipment (extractor, vacuum, culinary machinery, mop & bucket)

  
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push 250 lbs in wheelchair or cart


• Sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive arm/hand movements
