Dietary Personnel PRN

A Dietary Aid in a nursing home plays an essential role in supporting the nutritional health and overall well-being of residents. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and portioning of meals, setting up food trays, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring each resident receives the correct diet according to physician orders and dietary restrictions. Additional duties include washing dishes and kitchen equipment, cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dining rooms, and workstations, stocking food and supplies, and disposing of waste according to facility policies. Dietary Aids follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. They work closely with cooks, dietary managers, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure meals are prepared, delivered, and served efficiently while meeting residents' nutritional needs.
