MW Partners is currently seeking a Digital Asset Manager to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Primarily responsible for maintaining organization of assets within the DAM in accordance with governance process and standards.
- Has intimate understanding of taxonomy, metadata and tagging structure.
- Knows how to find assets within the corporate repository quickly using Search Filters and other mechanism available.
- Responsible for updating or add new metadata fields for assets that may be missing or have incorrect data.
- Ensures that DRM standards and controls are applied properly to all new and existing Assets.
- Has the knowledge, permissions, and skills to perform bulk uploading directly to the DAM as needed.
- Can advise business on naming conventions for assets loaded into the DAM to optimize search and re-use.
- Performs regularly scheduled review, maintenance and archival of ageing assets in accordance with business governance procedures.
- May be the primary owner/author of Asset Management governance procedures if they do not already exist.
- Meets regularly with business key stakeholders to understand and prepare for ingestion of assets into the DAM for upcoming campaigns and marketing programs, adhoc requests, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Equivalent
- Creative Cloud, Workfront or other Project Management tool, AEM
- Archive management and asset cataloging
- Digital Asset Management: Efficiently create and manage a digital library.
- Knowledge of Macintosh operating systems
- Ability to communicate and work across teams.
- Creating workflows for digital assets
- Project Management
- Archive assets as necessary
