Job Summary:
The Digital Banking Specialist will develop a mastery of day-to-day department functions, including maintenance and report review, while specializing in our Online Retail and Business Online Banking platforms, including our mobile app. This position supports our customers and the digital growth of the bank. General responsibilities may include, but are not limited to customer profile maintenance, reconcilements, research, troubleshooting, and vendor relations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties as assigned)
- Learns and masters the diverse functions of our Retail and Business Online Banking Platforms, including Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit and P2P Transactions and the Debit Card platform.
- Performs research, data entry, maintenance, troubleshooting, transaction tracking, and reconciliation reporting.
- Provides exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers of the bank. Makes referrals to areas in the bank when needs are identified.
- Takes initiative to resolve any issues as they arise.
- Handles general telephone, email and other inquiries from customers and co-workers.
- Identifies and escalates customer/system issues as required, partnering with multiple vendors and other departments.
- Cross trains and serves as a back-up in other areas as required.
- Identifies opportunities to innovate and process improve with the customer top of mind.
- Processes incoming mail including deposits and payments. Reviews essential reports including and not limited to address changes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Digital Banking Specialist has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Required Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two to five years similar or relatable experience is a plus but not required.
- Must have pleasant, personable, and professional relationship skills for customer contact.

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:
- Basic Equipment and Machinery: Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry. Ability to create spreadsheets, graphics, and reports using standard software applications.
- Ability to operate a computer, printer, scanner, copier, facsimile machine, telephone, adding machine, postage meter and calculator.
- Computer Software: Ability to utilize word-processing, excel spreadsheet and Adobe Acrobat with the willingness to learn new software, as necessary.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this position, the Digital Banking Specialist is regularly required to, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- The physical requirements of this position call for the ability to lift, move, push, pull, or otherwise exert up to 10-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting duties, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
Environmental Conditions:
- There is no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office work environment.

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 per hour. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
