Digital Content Specialist
Remote Type: 100% Onsite in Pleasant Grove, Utah
Position Type: Full-Time, with benefits

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Web, this position plays a critical role in the day to day effectiveness of doTERRA’s global websites.

Job Description
A doTERRA Digital Content Specialist is focused on implementing, developing, and maintaining a variety of content on doTERRA’s digital assets. This role, in collaboration with dTERRA content owners and other web specialists, will work to make doTERRA’s digital content accessible and accurate for doTERRA’s international markets, Wellness Advocates and their customers and prospects.

The end-goal is to make critical online information easy to access, accurate, timely, predictable, translated, and 100% reliable, ultimately so Wellness Advocates can build trust in their own essential oil classes and conversations.

This full-time position is focused on managing digital content in the Contentstack web content management system. Knowledge of how AI can work with modern content management systems to bulk manage content will be helpful. A knowledge of HTML basics, content production calendars, deadlines and branding standards is required.

This is not a web design or web programming role, although there is interaction with these disciplines. The position offers a wide variety of experience in working with various doTERRA departments and digital media.

Job Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate must have experience in web content management, and the ability to learn doTERRA’s systems, procedures, departments, and priorities.
  • Must have the ability to spot inaccuracies, imperfections, typos, errors, or needed corrections to make necessary fixes.
  • The person who fills this role should be ‘hungry to make content right’ in digital media. This requires a service minded, “can-do” attitude, trustworthiness, excellent prioritization, grammatical accuracy, and communication skills.
  • Content needs at doTERRA are constantly evolving and changing as needs arise. It’s critical for the person in this role to know current and upcoming projects and where they are going, focusing on the positive reception and use of doTERRA digital media, using time wisely while focusing on top priorities.
  • Of course, the ideal candidate finds satisfactions in content accuracy, keeping content fresh, working hard, and is generally optimistic/upbeat.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years experience in web content management.
  • Must demonstrate grammatical excellence in all content and written communications.
  • Must be able to collaborate well with the web team, project managers, and UI-UX design resources.
  • Shows a high level of concern for Wellness Advocate, Wholesale Customer needs and user experience.
  • Very detail oriented and has a track record of reliably meeting content management deadlines.
  • Must proactively solve problems and create solutions, prioritize projects and tasks.
  • Must have knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to edit or web optimize imagery.
  • A basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies preferred.
  • Foreign language skill a plus.
