Job Description - Digital Content Specialist

The team at SIDEARM provides the technology platform that powers the official websites, mobile apps, statistical integration, live audio and video streaming, and e-commerce platforms of more than 1,600 collegiate athletic partners across the nation.

We are actively accepting applications for a

Digital Content Specialist

to join our Partner Success team. In this unique role, you will design and develop custom digital experiences to support and collaborate with our Power 5 and Division I partners.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop digital experiences that adhere to our schools & sponsors specific brand needs, using design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, and jQuery.
Collaborate with the Partner Success team, Learfield properties, and schools to execute digital strategies and fan experiences.
Serve as a SIDEARM Sports product expert, regarding the SIDEARM CMS, products, and features to assist our partner's on-campus digital team, in effectively utilizing the wide range of tools available to them within the SIDEARM platform.
Manage multiple projects at one time.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure proper functionality of pages.
Effectively set and maintain timelines for each respective project.
Set clear expectations with partners on content needed from their end and what exactly you will be delivering and when.
Effectively train the partners on how to maintain and manage the completed digital experiences.

You will stay connected with Partner Success contacts at each school and consistently and effectively communicate progress and status, ensuring everyone is on the same page, regarding execution of projects and timeline.

Minimum Requirements:
Strong portfolio of complete web designs and exceptional execution
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, front-end development languages and prototyping software such as Figma
Familiar with Git or other source code versioning tools
Detail oriented with great debugging and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of accessibility, including HTML, ARIA, and WCAG 2.1
2+ of design and development experience
Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS
General understanding of JavaScript
Exposure to responsive design techniques

We'll be extra impressed if you have:
Experience with any modern frontend JavaScript framework, Vue/Angular/React/Knockout
Experience with LESS, SCSS or CSS preprocessors
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
