Job Description - Digital Integration Specialist

Job Summary: 

Manage and enhance the County’s digital presence inclusive of content management systems, data integration strategies, and emerging technologies like AI. Optimize existing platforms (e.g., SharePoint), ensure seamless data flow between systems, and explore innovative solutions to improve efficiency.  

Starting Wage: $30.68 per hour, full-time

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Content Management
  • Administer and enhance the County’s web-based content management environments including site structure, permissions, workflows, and templates.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather, organize, and publish content while maintaining consistency and accessibility.
  • Provide training and support for staff on content publishing and digital best practices.
  1. Data Integration & System Connectivity
  • Create and implement solution to integrate data across County systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and usability.
  • Collaborate with service leaders to identify and implement integration opportunities and streamline workflows.
  1. AI Technology Management & Development
  • Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools and platforms that support County operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify use cases and develop AI-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  1. Web Presence Oversight
  • Maintain and evolve the County’s web presence, ensuring alignment with policy, branding, and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor trends in digital government and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and service delivery.
  1. Project Coordination
  • Manage digital projects including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.
  • Document processes, changes, and training materials for internal use.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) Preferred in Information Systems or Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  2. Three (3) years of experience with SharePoint administration, content management systems, and data integration tools
  3. Two (2) years of experience in information Technology with an emphasis in Web CMS, data integrations and the following technologies: Windows Server and IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe, Acrobat, survey applications.
  4. One (1) year of experience with customer service & public relations preferred
  5. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in public sector environments preferred
