Job Description - Digital Marketing & Social Media Director



The Digital Marketing & Social Media Director is responsible for leading the casino resort's digital marketing strategy, social media presence, online reputation, and guest engagement initiatives. This position develops and executes innovative marketing campaigns designed to increase gaming revenue, hotel occupancy, entertainment attendance, food and beverage sales, loyalty club participation, and overall brand awareness.


 


RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:



  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Oversee all digital channels, including social media, website management, email marketing, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, influencer partnerships, and content creation.

  • Establish annual marketing plans, budgets and performance benchmarks.

  • Identify emerging digital trends, technologies, and opportunities to strengthen brand presence and audience growth.

  • Oversee integrated campaigns across multiple digital channels.



  • Develop and manage social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.

  • Create and oversee content calendars, campaign planning, and audience engagement initiatives.

  • Monitor social media performance and adjust strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Manage community engagement, reputation management, and crisis communication efforts when needed.



  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital communications and platforms.

  • Lead content development including graphics, video, photography, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.

  • Collaborate with internal management and external partners to produce compelling storytelling and marketing content.

  • Maintain and strengthen the organization's digital brand identity.



  • Oversee website strategy, content updates, user experience, and optimization efforts.

  • Manage SEO initiatives to improve organic search visibility and website traffic.

  • Coordinate website analytics, performance monitoring, and ongoing improvements.



  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across search, display, social media, and other online platforms.

  • Monitor campaign budgets and ROI to maximize marketing effectiveness.

  • Evaluate and report on campaign performance and audience behavior.



  • Track key performance indicators across all digital channels.

  • Analyze marketing data and provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • Prepare regular performance reports highlighting successes, opportunities, and recommendations.

  • Utilize analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making.



  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee project timelines and deliverables.


 


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.

  • 5–10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing and social media management.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising, SEO, email marketing, and content strategy.

  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.



  • Experience managing marketing teams and budgets.

  • Professional certifications in digital marketing, analytics, social media, or advertising platforms.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.



  • Strategic planning and execution.

  • Content marketing and storytelling.

  • Social media management and audience engagement.

  • SEO and SEM best practices.

  • Digital advertising campaign management.

  • Data analysis and performance reporting.

  • Budget management.

  • Team leadership and staff development.

  • Creative problem-solving.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support resort events and promotions.

  • Occasional attendance at special events, concerts, tournaments, and promotional activities.
