Job Description - Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager will embody strategic thinking, creative prowess, and tactical execution to help further accelerate The Paper Store’s omnichannel sales growth via digital marketing channels. This role will own the planning and execution of The Paper Store’s digital marketing to ensure a journey that brands the company, encourages online and in-store purchases and attracts new customers. Key to this role will be spearheading efforts to seamlessly integrate online and offline shopping experiences and ensure a data-driven, personalized journey. They will need to be a creative thinker, a data-driven decision-maker, and a collaborative team player.

The Digital Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a TPS brand ambassador
Manage and analyze online display, paid social, affiliate marketing, email, SMS/text marketing, and programmatic display to ensure key KPIs, new customer acquisition and sales goals are met
Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans based on quantitative data to achieve online and in-store performance goals, ROI/ROAS targets with a strong focus on new customer acquisition
Understand and leverage consumer data in our CDP (consumer data platform) to create campaigns that positively impact customer behaviors
Analyze and report on key performance metrics, including budget performance, ROAS, engagement and customer acquisition cost, to inform decision-making.
Implement and optimize email marketing campaigns, including automation, segmentation, and A/B testing. Responsible for ongoing management of inbox placement and development of strategies to ensure optimal deliverability
Manage strategic digital and web agency partnerships to extract optimal results, ensuring the objectives are being executed to goal and source new partners as needed
Define and approve assets along with creative teams for all digital campaigns and proactively suggest data-driven optimizations
Execute detailed analyses of campaign effectiveness across all marketing channels - including segmentation, creative targeting, and cohort analysis.
Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, including allocation of resources across various channels, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize ROI and achieve growth objectives
Strategize and develop digital campaigns with key vendors, leveraging various marketing/digital channels while effectively managing the vendor relationship
Support the development of a data-driven culture within the organization, leveraging analytics to make informed marketing decisions
Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of marketing experience and a thorough grasp of digital marketing, analytics and sales-driving tactics
Proficiency in utilizing marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and adjust strategies accordingly
Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
A resourceful self-starter with a team-first, collaborative mentality
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail
Strong team collaboration skills to manage a team and work cross-functionally with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal, visual and presenter communication skills to business stakeholders of various levels within the organization
Ability to work 3+ days/week at the Corporate Office in Acton, MA
Professional presentation in attire, demeanor, and appearance
