Title: Digital Marketing Specialist - SEO & Paid Media

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 open to discussion depending on experience

Location: Corcoran, MN (On-site to start, hybrid after)

About The Job:

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit a Digital Marketing Specialist - SEO & Paid Media to join their team. Our client is a growing concrete and concrete coatings company serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers across multiple markets.

This hands-on role will help execute and improve digital marketing efforts, with a primary focus on search engine optimization, website management, content development, and paid advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with company leadership and an outside digital marketing agency while taking ownership of day-to-day execution and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute SEO initiatives and recommendations in partnership with an outside marketing agency.

Create, update, and optimize website service pages, geographic location pages, landing pages, and project portfolios.

Complete on-page SEO improvements, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image optimization, and keyword placement.

Write, edit, and publish search-optimized website content and make routine WordPress updates independently.

Monitor website performance, organic search rankings, indexing, traffic, and local search visibility.

Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles and coordinate customer review initiatives.

Execute and maintain campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and other paid platforms under agency direction.

Implement campaign changes involving keywords, geographic targeting, ad copy, and budget adjustments.

Monitor campaign performance, lead quality, conversion tracking, and advertising efficiency.

Use Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and reporting tools to track traffic, leads, conversions, and campaign performance.

Maintain accurate lead-source tracking and marketing dashboards.

Coordinate with internal teams to gather project photos, customer testimonials, and other content for website and marketing use.

Identify opportunities to improve website conversion rates and lead generation.

Required Skills:

2-4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on SEO and website management.

Experience working directly in WordPress or a similar content management system.

Working knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, keyword research, content development, and local SEO.

Experience executing Google Ads and paid search campaigns.

Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.

Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging, search-optimized website content.

Ability to learn new marketing platforms and technologies.

Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Analytical mindset with an interest in connecting marketing efforts to leads and sales.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous digital marketing agency experience.

Experience in construction, home services, trades, or a multi-location business.

Experience creating local SEO service and location pages.

Familiarity with Google Business Profiles, call tracking, and marketing automation tools.

Experience with Canva or another basic design platform.
