Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Digital Marketing Specialist supports property and departmental teams in the execution of email marketing programs. This role is responsible for building, testing, and deploying email campaigns, coordinating campaign assets, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of communications. The Digital Marketing Specialist monitors campaign performance and supports ongoing optimization efforts.

Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:30pm

Primary Tasks:

  1. Collaborate with property marketing teams and internal partners to gather requirements, assemble assets, and support email campaign execution.

  2. Build and update email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring consistent rendering across devices and email clients.

  3. Use enterprise email marketing platforms to assemble, personalize, and deploy campaigns based on defined audience criteria and campaign requirements.

  4. Execute campaigns aligned to established strategies, creative direction, and stakeholder requirements.

  5. Maintain the email marketing calendar, tracking deadlines, approvals, and asset readiness.

  6. Build and deploy single-send campaigns and basic multi-step journeys; support A/B testing as directed.

  7. Ensure adherence to brand standards, compliance requirements, and email marketing best practices.

  8. Perform quality assurance checks, including proofreading, link validation, functional testing, and rendering reviews.

  9. Review campaign performance metrics and provide input to support optimization efforts.

  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience: 

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field or;

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree

  • Experience building or supporting email campaigns using an enterprise email marketing platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Adobe Campaign, Mailchimp)

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template editing and basic troubleshooting

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform quality assurance checks, validate links, and review rendering across devices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data manipulation

  • Two (2) years of experience in email or digital marketing
