Digital Media Specialist (Media / Video Promotion) - Urgent Hire

Job responsibilities:

The Digital Media Asset Specialist will be responsible for the assembly and distribution of a variety of Media & digital video promotion content.

Primary Responsibilities

·      Collaborate daily across the Operations team to prioritize and execute a high volume of content delivery according to the needs of the group.

·      Generate multiple versions of promotional assets for a variety of platforms using AVID Media Composer by repositioning video for different aspect ratios; transcoding for different file formats; swapping out graphics and other elements.

·      Perform quality control analysis and adjustments as needed to promotional content coming from outside vendors, as well as material generated in-house.

·      Generate a variety of social assets such as GIFs, podcasts, clips, and more.

·      Evaluate all new and existing digital and social media technology requirements and specs to ensure correct delivery of all material.

·      Stay ahead of emerging social media and post-production technologies so that the marketing and creative staffs can focus on planning and conceptualizing content.

·      Work closely with Production Services and Support staff to stay in sync with company-wide post-production initiatives.

Requirements

•        Bachelor’s Degree in Communications /TV/Film

•        A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

•        Strong Understanding and functional expertise in the areas of: Avid Media Composer, NEXIS/Interplay, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop, color correction software, file transcoding and delivery systems.

•        Excellent post-production workflow knowledge.

•        Ability to handle several projects simultaneously while keeping up in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

•        Should be open to working a shifted schedule (such as 4pm – 12am).
