Job Description - Digital Platform Specialist

Description

Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service is seeking a Digital Platform Specialist to serve as the key point of contact for our Digital Growth Program and associated digital initiatives. This role will oversee a variety of digital tools used to support operations and elevate the customer experience at our service centers. Collaborating with teams across marketing, operations, IT, and supply chain, the specialist will work to optimize website content and digital platform performance. Additionally, they will communicate directly with platform vendors to address technical issues and ensure efficient platform utilization. 

Digital Platform Management

  • Serve as point person for the Digital Growth Program and adjacent digital platforms. 
  • Own, maintain, update, and optimize digital projects and platforms including but not limited to Gills-owned website, e-commerce platform, Hubspot, DVI & Scheduler, Rewards Program, and Location Listings. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing technical issues with digital platforms, working directly with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. 
  • Assist in the roll-out of new digital tools or features, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to timelines. 
  • Own updates across the website, rewards program, location listings and other digital platforms to maintain consistency and drive revenue from company marketing initiatives. 
  • Lead website content management, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices and offers a seamless user experience.
  • Work with vendors to ensure tracking and analytics across platforms are implemented.

Digital Platform Optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, IT, and supply chain to optimize and improve program value. 
  • Thoroughly understand platform capabilities and business objectives to maximize the value of each digital program. 
  • Foster strong vendor relationships and stay informed of platform updates and enhancements to ensure we are fully optimizing the capabilities of each platform. 

Manage and Track Vendors to Budget

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on digital platform performance, usage trends, and issue resolution, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital platforms, using insights to refine strategies and partner with marketing team to use insights to inform campaigns. 
  • Work with vendors and partners to help implement and maintain on-page SEO practices and content strategy.
  • Leverage analytics tools to track KPIs and demonstrate digital program’s impact on company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • 3-5 years of experience managing digital platforms and analysis, preferably in a retail or multi-location environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstratable experience in marketing data analytics and tools such as Hubspot, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, etc. 
  • Experience working with Yext, Craft CMS, and Hubspot preferred. 
  • Background in managing and optimizing e-commerce websites preferred. 
  • Strong project management skills and extremely detail oriented 
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to enhance the customer experience by leveraging digital tools. 
  • Experience optimizing digital tools to align with business objectives. 
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience working directly with vendors to resolve technical issues and optimize digital tools and platforms. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and work with external vendors.
