Digital Print & Finishing Operator 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Print & Finishing Operator to support our custom manufacturing operations. This versatile role combines responsibilities in digital print production and finishing. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive mindset, and experience operating both digital and mechanical production equipment in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain digital print, rewind, and finishing equipment
• Manage production workflow to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Perform quality inspections in alignment with job specifications and standards
• Handle job setup: retrieve materials, load files, and review proofs and drawings
• Troubleshoot equipment and conduct routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Accurately document production data and perform system entries
• Collaborate with peers, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals
• Perform additional production-related tasks or special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
• 2–3 years of experience operating mechanical and/or digital production equipment
• Experience in sign, label, or custom manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including file management and digital interfaces
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and proofs
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make basic adjustments and repairs
• High attention to detail; able to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist for 8–10 hours per shift
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
