Position Overview

The Print Technician will be responsible for the printer operations of our large format Digital Printer and Cutter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Running and Maintaining Print equipment and color management, with the ability to fabricate high-quality printed materials. This is a rapidly expanding and growing graphics department with an opportunity for future advancement within the company.  

Key Responsibilities for the Print Technician:

• Operate and Maintain High Quality, Wide Format, Digital Printing Equipment.
  


• Follow production schedules to ensure deadlines are met


• Review Job Orders to ensure the right material is on-hand


• Ability to Perform vinyl prep tasks such as weeding, masking, and mounting graphics to substrates like foam board, acrylic, and coroplast.


• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED


• Previous experience in digital printing is required


• Strong Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• In-depth Understanding of Printing Technologies and Color Management


• Creativity, Problem solving & forward-thinking skills


• Ability to Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.


• Experience with EFI Vutek Large Format Printer and Zund Cutting Technology preferred.
