Digital Production Analyst
Remote, with hybrid option available for Columbus, Ohio residents (work from office once a week).
8+ Month Contract Client is seeking a dedicated Digital Commerce Operations QA Analyst to join the team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our email marketing and transactional content. This is a contract position with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities:
- Verify email content against wireframes and business requirements to ensure compliance.
- Conduct email rendering checks across different clients to guarantee consistent display.
- Review technical setups in Movable Ink & Salesforce Marketing Cloud to align with marketing strategy.
- Define and assess test scenarios for dynamic email experiences during testing phases.
- Document and manage defects in collaboration with email producers, utilizing QA tracking documents.
- Coordinate email proof workflows for approval among cross-functional partners.
- Optimize QA workflow, process, and tooling in collaboration with the Coordinator.
- Execute production tests post-release to validate triggered/transactional emails and template updates.
- Contribute to requirement gathering and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) facilitation.
- Report progress metrics and data on test preparation and execution to the Comm Ops Manager.
- Drive continuous learning and improvement initiatives from a testing perspective.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA Analyst role, preferably focused on ecommerce or website testing.
- Proven experience with testing mobile apps, digital websites, or marketing/transactional emails.
- Proficiency in third-party applications such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime during peak periods.
- Remote position; hybrid option available for candidates residing in Columbus, Ohio.
- Experience in automation testing is desired but not required.
