Dining Services Dishwasher

The Lutheran Home is seeking a reliable Full-time Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team.  In this role, you will be responsible for helping to maintain a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring the proper washing and sanitizing of dishes and kitchen equipment.  Your work will support the daily operations of our healthcare community, helping provide essential services to our residents.  This is a stable, long-term position with a focus on teamwork and service.  We are committed to upholding our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Washing dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher.
• Storing away cooking equipment, utensils, and dishes in the designated storage areas.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the tables and work surfaces.
• Sorting and removing trash, placing it in the designated pickup area.
• Helping to keep the kitchen area clean and in safe working condition.
• Sweeping or mopping floors. 
• Performing necessary tasks to help us meet the needs of our residents specifically their diet and food preferences.

• Excellent customer service skills

• Minimum age of 18
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Dietary experience preferred
