Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aide to join our team in White Lake, MI. This role involves providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Administer medication reminders as directed.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care-giving role is an asset but not required.


• Ability to work independently and reliably.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.


• Basic knowledge of home safety and personal care techniques.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
