Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to clients in Taylor, MI. As a Direct Care Aide, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals by offering personalized care and assistance with daily activities in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ emotional and social well-being.


• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.


• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.


• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred but not required.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks and valid Ids.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations within Taylor, MI.


• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
