Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aide to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients in Taylor, MI. As a Direct Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require help with daily living activities. This position offers competitive pay, ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, with payments issued twice a month.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.


• Monitor and report changes in client’s condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
