Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Aides in Clawson, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with their daily living activities and helping them maintain a comfortable and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.


• Follow established care plans and adhere to safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus but not required.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to assist clients with physical mobility and personal care needs.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.


• Willingness to undergo background checks.
