What does a Direct Care - Behavioral Specialist Assistant do?


As a Full-Time Direct Care - Behavioral Specialist Assistant at Russell Nesbitt Services Inc., you will provide essential direct care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will encompass a variety of vital tasks, including basic housekeeping to maintain a comfortable living environment, meal preparation to ensure clients receive nutritious and satisfying meals, and assistance with personal care activities such as toileting and showering. QUALIFICATIONS:



  1. Minimum 18 years of age or older.

  2. Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and criminal background check.

  3. Valid driver's license required

  4. High School diploma or GED preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required to become AMAP certified.

  5. Ability to read, write, and comprehend literature which may be of a technical nature and perform basic mathematical computations.
