Job Description - Direct Care Staff - Backend

Youth Direct Care Staff shall meet one of the following qualifications

1. Previously been employed as a full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year or

2. Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department or

3. Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree

4. Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education or Psychology

Shift hours:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm - 10pm and Saturday 9am - 9pm

Compensation: $20.90 - $24.00 per hour

Our multidisciplinary team strive to provide a safe, consistent and therapeutic environment that allows for resident in placement to receive emotional and environmental support and guidance.

OUR HISTORY

New Beginnings Residential Treatment Facilities, a nonprofit residential treatment program, was founded in 1995 by Gail Lacy. Ms. Lacy currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer.
New Beginnings Residential Treatment Facilities is licensed to serve eighteen parenting and non-parenting female teens (ages 12-21) and four children (ages 0-2).

Our vision is to equip young people in becoming self-sufficient adults, with the capacity to continuously thrive emotionally, physically and spiritually.
