Direct Care Worker

In this important role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring they maintain a high quality of life. Your duties will encompass a wide range of tasks, including helping clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship. Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to appropriate personnel.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to create a nurturing atmosphere.

• Prior experience in direct care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Genuine compassion for and commitment to helping others.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
