Direct Care Worker

Description of the Role:

Welcome to AbaCares Services! As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need within the Lancaster, PA area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living


• Provide emotional support and companionship


• Administer medication, as directed


• Document client progress and any changes in condition

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Prior experience in direct care preferred


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
