Direct Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being


• Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as instructed


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition


• Follow care plans and uphold safety and hygiene standards


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or related field is an asset


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to perform physical tasks required for client care


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor IS A MUST


• Valid driver’s license or State ID is required for the position


• Own Reliable transportation is a plus
