Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to our clients in Ida, MI. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others through direct personal care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.


• Ensure safety and comfort of clients at all times.


• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role is an advantage.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.


• Must be able to pass background checks.


• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends may be required.
