Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Pontiac, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community while earning $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with medication reminders and basic health care tasks as directed by medical professionals.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients’ homes.


• Document care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct care work is a plus but not required.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Ability to travel to client homes in Pontiac, MI.


• Flexible availability, including the possibility of evenings and weekends.
