Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and support to enhance emotional well-being


• Help with medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status


• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment for clients


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals


• Document care provided according to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct care preferred but not required


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting clients


• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes


• Background check may be required
