Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to our clients in Saline, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors


• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure client safety and confidentiality

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or similar role is an advantage


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Saline, MI


• Must be compassionate, patient, and respectful of clients’ needs and privacy


• Ability to pass background checks
