Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and support to promote emotional well-being


• Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring


• Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any significant changes in clients’ conditions


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide coordinated care

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or a related field is a plus


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license


• Pass background checks
