Job Description - Direct Caregiver (CNA preferred)

Must be 21 years of age or older; First Aid/CPR certified; Must be able to read and write, GED or high school diploma; Excellent interpersonal skills; Clean Criminal Background; 16 hours of training within the year related to characteristics of the clients; communicates effectively with service monitors, staff, families, and state monitors.

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Our homes represent a consumer-focused model resident housing which organizes the setting and delivery of services around the resident rather than the facility. The personal care home model is continuing to evolve and is offering a level of care that is considered to be appropriate for individuals wishing to maintain independent lifestyles. Whereas, community living alternatives were previously developed as a "between" level of care from the hospital to a nursing home, today community living alternatives are now being developed as core resident models. This is evident with the increasing number of free-standing facilities.
