Direct Hire Plaintiff Paralegal - Exciting Challenge

LHH is looking for a direct hire Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal for a firm in Chicago. This is a hybrid position. Our client will also look at candidates who have extensive Insurance Defense experience as well.

EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum of 4+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, including comprehensive case preparation and understanding of the paralegal's role in litigation.

• Advisory Role: Desire to work in an advisory capacity, mentoring and training other paralegals and practice assistants.
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting a broad range of substantive paralegal tasks, including product liability, toxic tort disputes, complex commercial litigation, and business disputes across various industries. Ideally candidates will have extensive experience in particular in the areas of litigation related to auto accident and large trucking accidents causing bodily harm and or injury.

• Maintaining and monitoring court deadlines, taking ownership of case calendars.
  

• Electronically filing documents through the ECF system under attorney supervision.
  

• Performing online PACER research and drafting pleadings, notices, and motions.

SALARY RANGE:

• Pay range: $70,000-$95,000, depending on experience. With no annual billable hours requirement.
