We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in order to help them reach their goals and live as independently as possible. This position requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings.
- Develop and implement individualized plans for each individual.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Ensure that the rights of individuals are respected and upheld.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
- Document services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment for individuals served.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
Shifts - 7a-3p 3p-11p 11p-7a Mon - Fri 7a-7p, 7p-7a Sat- Sun
