We are currently in search of a Direct Response Marketing Specialist to join our Direct Response Fundraising team. The Direct Response Marketing Specialist works with colleagues across the organization and with external partners and agencies to ensure seamless campaign workflows, accurate data management, and timely delivery of all campaign efforts. The Direct Response Marketing Specialist plays an essential role in supporting the project coordination and execution of direct response fundraising campaigns, primarily direct mail fundraising (donor newsletters, appeals, acknowledgements and other efforts) but will also include exposure to phone, text, digital, Face-to-Face and other fundraising channels in our omni-channel strategic approach. This position will champion proactive and accurate planning, execution, organization, and communication, contributing to the overall success of direct marketing initiatives leading to revenue growth to fuel our mission. Exposure to marketing agencies and senior leaders across fundraising and marketing teams lends to the development of strategic sensibilities in a fast-paced, collegial and learning environment.
NOTE: This position will work a hybrid schedule from our corporate office in Oklahoma City, OK and is not a 100% remote position.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, project coordination, or fundraising required. Direct response or nonprofit experience preferred.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Technical proficiency with data using Excel and/or similar databases strongly preferred.
Ability to learn and leverage new software tools to optimize efforts required. Experience with project management tools like Workfront/Monday.com, creative tools like Adobe Acrobat/Canva, and AI tools like CoPilot preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines professionally while maintaining a high attention to detail required
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to take effective meeting notes and follow up on actions.
Collaborative and proactive working style; customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
