Direct Support Professional

We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic caregivers to join our growing team in Santa Barbara.

Job Description: As a direct support professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.


• Providing companionship and emotional support.


• Giving medication reminders and keeping an eye on health and safety.


• Supporting clients in participating in community activities and social events.


• Following personalized care plans as and documenting via detailed shift notes and task records.
  

Qualifications:

• 18yrs of age or older


• 6mos. previous experience in caregiving or a related field.


• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.


• Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle.
