Direct Support Professional

This position is ideal for someone looking for weekend hours with flexibility during the week.

No experience required – we provide paid training to help you succeed.

Current Schedule: Monday - Sunday Full Time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00/hour (Weekly Pay)

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Support with hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility
• Independence Building: Help with meal prep, light housekeeping, and daily living tasks
• Goal-Oriented Support: Assist individuals in achieving their personal goals outlined in their ISP
• Social & Recreational Activities: Encourage community involvement and socialization
• Health & Safety: Monitor health, assist with medical appointments, and administer medications as needed (with training)
• Behavioral Support: Use positive reinforcement and behavioral strategies
• Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress notes, and incident reports
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, families, and professionals
• Emergency Readiness: Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent situations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous experience in direct care preferred, but not required – paid training is provided
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting others
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Medication Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically able to lift, assist with mobility, and respond to emergencies as needed
