Direct support Professional

We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. As a DSP, you will provide essential assistance with daily activities, help individuals achieve their personal goals, and foster a positive and inclusive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
• Encourage social interactions and participation in community activities to enhance individual well-being.
• Implement and follow individualized support plans aimed at promoting independence and self-advocacy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and track progress in achieving personal goals.
• Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for individuals at all times.
• Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.

• High school diploma or GED required; certification in Human Services or related field is preferred.
• Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of care.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or must be obtained after employment.
