Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Implement and follow individualized support plans to help clients achieve their personal goals.
• Encourage social interactions and community participation to enhance overall well-being.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a holistic approach to client support.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a related field is preferred.
• Experience as a Direct Support Professional or in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
• Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client outings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained shortly after being hired.
