Direct Support Professional

Creed Medical is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will provide essential support and encouragement, helping individuals achieve their personal goals and fostering their independence. Your role will include assisting with daily living activities, facilitating community involvement, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in achieving their personal care goals and enhancing their independent living skills.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities within the community.
• Document care provided and report any changes in individuals' conditions to the care team.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and healthy environment for clients at all times.
• Collaborate with team members, family members, and other stakeholders to create effective support strategies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in direct support or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community support activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or must be willing to obtain post-employment.
