Direct Support Professional

Position Title: Community Based Direct Support Professional 

Hours:  Can vary based on the needs of the person

Compensation: $17.50/ hour

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED


• NC Driver's License


• 21 years of age or older 


• Pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Transport individual to and from community activities.


• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including implementing service goals.


• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication, if needed 


• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.


• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.


• Ensures all required documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
