About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide essential care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, promoting independence, and fostering a safe, respectful, and enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD in community and home-based settings.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and participating in community activities.
• Foster positive relationships by engaging in meaningful interactions and promoting independence.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest level of care.
• Administer medications and follow individualized care plans as required.
• Document and report any observations, changes in behavior, or incidents accurately.
• Transport individuals using company and personal vehicles as needed.
• Ensure a safe and respectful environment that aligns with organization policies and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with IDD preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for company and personal vehicle use.
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass background checks and relevant screenings.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
