Description

Community Workforce Solutions Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our adult day program supporting adults with disabilities. Would you like to provide compassionate care to clients who have intellectual and developmental disabilities? Are you looking to make a positive impact? The ideal candidate for this position is highly experienced with one-on-one support for adults with IDD, supporting client needs, and maintaining safety and documenting services provided on a daily basis.
 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for teaching, modeling, and planning engaging activities to assist participants in meeting individual goals.
• Ability to work with a client independently or in a group setting.
• Operate a 12 - 15 passenger van if needed.

Required Education / Experience

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid NC driver’s license
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and North Carolina background check.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 10 - 25 lbs.
• Must be able to handle sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
