Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are urgently hiring and seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work in our Intellectual Developmental/Disability Delayed (ID/DD) facilities located in Suffolk, Virginia and Newport News, Virginia. The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience, and are caring, motivated, and committed professionals who are willing to go above and beyond for individuals in the ID/DD community.

We are currently hiring full-time, part-time and PRN staff to work at our Suffolk and Newport News, Virginia facilities. We are hiring for the following shifts Full time and Part time shifts 3 pm to 11 pm with rotating weekends 8am-8pm. Pay range is $20 - $22 with a sign on bonus of $1000.  Full-Time and Part-time shifts overnights 11 pm to 8 am with rotating weekends 8pm-8am. Pay range is $18 - $19.

Full Time Evening

Week 1

Sunday-8am-8m; Monday- OFF; Tuesday-OFF; Wednesday-3pm-11pm;  Thursday 3pm-11pm Friday 3pm-11pm Saturday OFF  

Week 2

Sunday OFF; Monday 3pm-11pm; Tuesday 3pm-11pm; Wednesday 3pm-11pm; Thursday-OFF; Friday OFF; Saturday 8am- 8pm 

Full Time Overnight

Week 1

Sunday- Off; Monday-11pm-8am: Tuesday-11pm-8am: Wednesday-11pm-8am: Thursday-Off: Friday-Off: Saturday-8pm-8am

Week 2

Sunday- 8pm-8am Monday-:OFF Tuesday-OFF: Wednesday-11pm-8am: Thursday-11pm-8am: Friday-11pm-8am: Saturday-Off

Various duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting individuals with meeting person centered outcomes outlined in their treatment plans.


• Facilitating groups, support with activities of daily living.


• Support with community outings.


• Support with connecting individuals to resources.


• Assist and support individuals with ADLs.


• Other supportive services in the community.
