About the Role:
Join Gateway Residential Services as a Direct Support Professional Program Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Direct Support Professional program.
- Develop individualized support plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
- Supervise and mentor Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of client progress and program effectiveness.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff development and compliance.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to enhance client support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for both clients and staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support or program coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for advocacy and client empowerment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and families.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in disability services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
