Direct Support Professional Residential Overnight

Our mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. The Direct Support Professional provides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Support individuals to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Observe, document, and communicate pertinent information such as behaviors, nursing, nutrition, clinical issues, etc., to facilitate assessment and development of treatment goals and to ensure care for individuals.
• Administer medications as prescribed by Physician, per regulations.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED.
