What You'll Do:

• Provide supervision and actively engage participants, while providing positive reinforcement 


• Assist with daily living responsibilities, such as, cooking meals, keeping a clean-living environment, assistance with medications, grocery shopping, healthcare appointments, etc.


• Participate in community activities with participant, such as, going to movies, bowling, Kroc Center classes/workouts, hiking, fishing, camping, Specialized Needs Recreations (SNR), Special Olympics, etc. (Must be willing to use personal car for community outings)


• Complete personal care needs for certain individuals (toileting, showering, perineal care, etc.)


• Foster a positive living environment


• Encourage independently living skills


• Complete and maintain participant documentation


• Prevention and management of crisis (to provide a safe environment)


• You will sleep at the participants home Saturday and Sunday night

What You'll Need:

• Must be at least 18 years old


• Have a valid Driver's License


• Have a reliable transportation and valid insurance


• Have the ability to pass a Federal Background Check


• Be free from communicable diseases and skin lesions


• CPR & First Aid Certified (will pay for training after being hired)


• Assistance with Medications Certified (will pay for training after being hired)
  


• Ability to work independently, with little supervision
